The Shas faction sent a letter of support to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu calling on him to reach a deal and not shy away from the dissenting voices in the coalition.<\/p>\n
“The Shas faction strengthens your hands in your efforts to return our abducted brothers and sisters, and in leading the deal that is currently in advanced negotiations,” the letter reads at the beginning.<\/p>\n
And later it was written that the time should be used in order to return the abductees “We believe that the conditions that have now been created following the welcome military pressure and the targeted assassinations, create an appropriate time to reach a deal that preserves Israel’s vital security interests and returns the abductees home.”<\/p>\n
It also reads: “The Shas faction urges you not to be afraid of the voices in the coalition that oppose the deal and strengthens you to continue to act responsibly for the mitzvot of redeeming captives, which is not higher than that, and as our Rabbi Ovadia Yosef ZTZ”L always instructed us, to do everything for the redemption of captives.”<\/p>\n
At the end of the letter, blessings to the Prime Minister ahead of his expected trip to Washington next week, “We congratulate you on your important trip to the United States to faithfully represent Israel’s position on this important stage, and for the fact that you are including the families of the abductees on your trip, and we are sure that this trip will greatly help to promote the deal for the abductees and bring I will finish soon, with God’s help.”<\/p>\n
The headquarters of the families of the abductees reported: “Yesterday, Defense Minister Yoav Galant told the families of the abducted observers that ‘there is no security obstacle to the deal. It is important to exhaust the moves in the coming days before<\/em> the Prime Minister’s trip to Washington, then it will be much more difficult and complicated.'” The families of the abductees, who are waiting for 285 days, their loved ones have been crying out are begging the Prime Minister to approve the ‘Netanyahu deal’ even before his flight to Congress. The return of the 120 abductees is closer than ever and is within reach, everyone agrees – this opportunity must not be missed.
