Just months earlier, Captain Amitai Zvi Granot had fallen in battle in Lebanon, days after setting a wedding date with her. Avichai Amsalem, who fell in battle at Sha\u2019ar HaNegev on October 9. Avichai, remembered as a courageous fighter and devoted family man, saved many lives in his final moments. This week, Efraim Rimmel and Ayelet Kolman shared the joyous news of their newborn daughter. Both had known tragedy: Ayelet\u2019s husband Adiel was murdered in a terror attack in Jerusalem\u2019s Old City in 2018, while Efraim lost his wife Tzipi and their infant daughter Noam in a car accident the following year, in which he was badly injured himself. In 2022, the two remarried, uniting their families and raising eight children together.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fephraim.rimel%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02BpGAcNqHPGTAvycYLnF58oxYYZSJNbGX29SYmY8RLLEFjemySVgQG1abSE54tHD2l&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"530\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Now, with the birth of their first joint child, they are embracing a new chapter of life. &#8220;With God\u2019s help, we are happy to announce the birth of a healthy daughter. Ayelet is feeling well.
