The missile barrage launched by Iran overnight (Sunday to Monday) at Israel\u2014for the second time in a few hours\u2014included about 100 missiles. Most were intercepted, but strikes in several areas\u2014especially in Gush Dan and the North\u2014resulted in fatalities, injuries, and structural damage.<\/p>\n

One of the main impact zones was in central Israel, where a high-rise building was hit and nearby structures suffered heavy damage. From this site alone, three deaths were reported across two buildings. Security forces, Magen David Adom, and rescue teams are active in additional locations, scanning for wounded and trapped.<\/p>\n

15:08<\/strong> \u2013 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Tel Nof Airbase, where he praised the capabilities of the Israeli Air Force. “The Air Force controls the skies over Tehran,” said Netanyahu, adding that Israel is striking regime targets, unlike the Iranians who are targeting Israeli civilians. He emphasized Israel\u2019s two main objectives: eliminating the nuclear and missile threats from Iran, crediting the achievements to the Air Force pilots and ground crews.<\/p>\n

Defense Minister Israel Katz noted the difficult decisions made regarding the strikes in Iran, stating: “We had people we could count on.” He added that what is happening over Tehran today proves those decisions were right, emphasizing that all of Israel trusts the Air Force and the team leading the mission.<\/p>\n

Lapid shared that glass shattered in his one-year-old granddaughter\u2019s bedroom\u2014exactly where she normally sleeps. He urged the public to follow Home Front Command\u2019s instructions and remain in secure rooms, stressing: “Don\u2019t take risks.”<\/p>\n

13:12<\/strong> \u2013 National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir visited the missile strike site in Petah Tikva and stated that Israel is delivering heavy blows to Iran and that the campaign was preplanned. He criticized foreign live broadcasts that he said endanger lives, and urged the Shin Bet and police to act. Ben Gvir stressed: “Zero tolerance for expressions of joy or support for Iran\u2014this is support for terror.”<\/p>\n
