U.S. President Trump said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that he knew about Israel\u2019s plan to strike Iran.<\/p>\n

“It wasn\u2019t a warning”<\/strong>
The president was asked on Friday what kind of warning the U.S. received prior to the attack and said: “It wasn\u2019t a warning. We know what\u2019s going on.”<\/p>\n

Trump also said that a strike would be good for the markets, since Iran will not possess nuclear weapons. Later today, the U.S. president is expected to speak with Netanyahu about plans going forward.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, earlier today the U.S. president responded for the first time and wrote on his social media platform: “We gave them a chance and they didn\u2019t take it. They took a hard hit, a very hard one. And there will be more\u2014much more.”<\/p>\n
