Israeli authorities have blocked over 100 anti-Israel activists from entering the country since the start of 2025\u2014representing a dramatic spike of thousands of percent compared to previous years, according to data revealed Monday during a Knesset subcommittee hearing. Between 2017 and March 2024, only about 30 such entry refusals were recorded. But in just the first five months of 2025, that number has already surged past 100.<\/p>\n

Hostile Actors Have Been Stopped at the Gate<\/strong>
\nThe figures were presented during a session of the Knesset\u2019s Subcommittee on Judea and Samaria, chaired by MK Tzvi Sukkot of the Religious Zionist Party. He has been spearheading efforts to tighten oversight of individuals attempting to enter Israel with the intent to incite unrest or delegitimize the IDF. \u201cThanks to improved coordination between security bodies, we’ve been able to block the entry of hostile activists who previously entered freely,\u201d Sukkot said.<\/p>\n

He credited a special task force formed by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir in the Samaria District, working in collaboration with the Population and Immigration Authority, the Diaspora Affairs Ministry, and the IDF Central Command.<\/p>\n

\nSukkot emphasized that Israel would no longer serve as a platform for what he called \u201canarchists and provocateurs.\u201d
