A Coordinated Antisemitic Attack in Paris
\n<\/strong>A serious incident occurred this morning (Saturday) in France involving a coordinated antisemitic attack against four Jewish sites in Paris, including the Holocaust Museum, two synagogues (“Agoudas Hakehilos” and Tournelles), and the Jewish restaurant “Chez Marianne” in the Marais district.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the buildings were sprayed with green paint and deliberately damaged in a simultaneous and coordinated manner. The events sparked immediate outrage within the Jewish community in both France and Israel.<\/p>\n

President of Israel: “Standing With Them in This Difficult Time \u2014 Personally”
\n<\/strong>President Isaac Herzog strongly condemned the vandalism and revealed a surprising personal connection: one of the synagogues that was desecrated was founded by his great-grandfather, Rabbi Yoel Herzog zatzal<\/em> (may the righteous memory be a blessing).<\/p>\n

I am appalled by the attack on Jewish institutions in Paris over Shabbat – including the synagogue in the Marais neighborhood which was built by my great-grandfather Rabbi Joel Herzog.<\/p>\n
