{"id":24742,"date":"2025-05-28T02:00:20","date_gmt":"2025-05-27T23:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reganews.co.il\/en\/?p=24742"},"modified":"2025-05-27T22:00:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T19:00:02","slug":"nationwide-crackdown-on-online-abuse-against-minors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reganews.co.il\/en\/nationwide-crackdown-on-online-abuse-against-minors\/","title":{"rendered":"Nationwide Crackdown on Online Abuse Targeting Minors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a broad operation led by Unit 105 of Israel Police&#8217;s Lahav 433, dozens of suspects\u2014most of them minors\u2014were arrested for operating so-called \u201centertainment pages\u201d on social media that featured sexually explicit and harmful content targeting teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation revealed that the suspects ran Instagram pages under names associated with cities or educational institutions, where they published offensive content that seriously violated the privacy and dignity of minors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooperation with Meta<\/strong><br \/>\nSome of the pages were removed in collaboration with Meta, and in other cases, investigators were able to identify the individuals behind the accounts.
