During a brief visit to Israel following last week\u2019s attack in Washington, and against the backdrop of rising tensions in the Middle East, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced on Monday that a decision from the American administration regarding Iran is imminent.<\/p>\n

Noem emphasized the importance of close coordination with Jerusalem ahead of what appears to be a decisive point in the current round of talks between the U.S. and Iran. According to reports from the United States, President Trump is considering a clear ultimatum in order to prevent a \u201cbad deal\u201d that would not meet Israel\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n
Former Mossad Director: Trump Told Netanyahu \u2013 “If Talks Fail, I\u2019ll Strike” \n<\/strong>On Sunday, at an economic conference hosted by Mishpacha<\/em> newspaper, former Mossad Director Yossi Cohen offered a rare behind-the-scenes look at how decisions regarding Iran are made. He stated that cooperation between Washington and Jerusalem is stronger than ever: \u201cI believe Israel will not act without full coordination with the United States. Cohen also revealed that he heard this directly from President Trump himself: \u201cWhen Trump tells the Prime Minister, \u2018If the negotiations fail, I\u2019ll strike, and Israel will take the lead\u2019\u2014that\u2019s deep cooperation.\u201d He added that any such operation would also require extensive defensive measures: \u201cThis is the kind of action that demands significant protective systems.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Ground Is Shaking \u2013 Diplomatically and Militarily \n<\/strong>The comments from Noem and Cohen come alongside reports of Israeli military readiness for a strike on Iran, large-scale exercises by the IDF, and counter-threats from senior officials in Tehran.
