\u00a0<\/strong>In a moment filled with pride and emotion, 15 students from the Saled Special Education School in Kfar Saba took part in a symbolic \u201cBeret March\u201d graduation ceremony alongside IDF commando soldiers. The event, part of the \u201cSpecial in Uniform\u201d program, was held last week at the Commando Base in Beit Lid for the fifth consecutive year.<\/p>\n

Commanders, Families, and Community Show Support<\/strong>
\nThe event was attended by the IDF Central Command Chief, unit commanders, students\u2019 families, and the school staff, led by principal Vered Ben Dror. Together, they applauded the students who wore IDF uniforms and marched proudly alongside elite soldiers.<\/p>\n

They Inspire All of Us<\/strong>
\nMayor Rafi Sa\u2019ar of Kfar Saba, who attended the ceremony, said: \u201cThe students of Saled School prove just how far determination, faith, and partnership can go. Watching them march proudly in uniform alongside commando soldiers is moving and reminds us of the power of community and inclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that the students are \u201can inspiration to all of us\u201d, embodying values of belonging and mutual respect that are central to the city\u2019s educational vision.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpecial in Uniform\u201d: Path to Independence and Employment<\/strong>
\nThe \u201cSpecial in Uniform\u201d program was founded about a decade ago with a mission to integrate youth with disabilities into the IDF. The broader goal is to prepare them for civilian employment and independent living.<\/p>\n

Participants gain hands-on experience in structured military environments, working alongside other soldiers. This inclusive model not only empowers the youth but also fosters empathy and acceptance among their peers in uniform.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
