Israeli security forces have arrested the terrorist operative responsible for orchestrating the deadly shooting attack on January 6th in Funduq, the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, a known terror hotspot. The arrest was made during a joint overnight operation by the IDF, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), and Israeli Police<\/p>\n

In a separate raid in Qabatiya, five militants affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS) were also taken into custody. In total, 25 wanted individuals were apprehended overnight throughout Judea and Samaria in a broad counterterrorism effort.<\/p>\n

Weapons, Cash Seized in Bethlehem Region<\/strong>
\nIn recent days, forces from the Etzion Brigade and Judea and Samaria District Police carried out another raid in the town of Al-Khader, near Bethlehem. There, they arrested multiple suspects involved in attacks on a civilian road and seized 250,000 shekels in terror-linked funds, weapons and ammunition.<\/p>\n

Additional Raids in Hebron Area<\/strong>
\nIn the Hebron region, troops also confiscated two assault rifles\u2014an M16 and an M4\u2014along with magazines and ammunition. The suspects and weapons were transferred for further investigation.
