Disagreement in Washington<\/strong>
\nAccording to American officials, an Israeli strike on Iran could be perceived by President Trump as an especially aggressive move, potentially triggering a broader regional escalation\u2014something Washington is eager to avoid. However, the sources noted that Israel has not yet made a final decision, and there is disagreement within the U.S. administration over the likelihood of such an operation. In their assessment, the final decision will likely depend on whether negotiations between the two countries succeed or collapse.<\/p>\n

Another source familiar with the American intelligence assessments said the chances of an Israeli strike on Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities have risen significantly in recent weeks. He added that if an agreement is signed between the U.S. and Iran that does not mandate the complete removal of Iran\u2019s uranium stockpiles, it would further increase the likelihood of Israeli military action.<\/p>\n
