He further claimed that Israel&#8217;s policies obstruct diplomatic solutions and endanger Palestinian lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Israel Denounces UK Decision as Politically Driven<\/strong><br \/>\nIsrael\u2019s Foreign Ministry dismissed the UK&#8217;s move as a political maneuver, stating, \u201cEven prior to today\u2019s announcement, the free trade agreement negotiations were not being advanced at all by the current UK government. More than that, the agreement would serve the mutual benefit of both countries. If, due to anti-Israel obsession and domestic political considerations, the British government is willing to harm the British economy \u2014 that is its own prerogative&#8221;.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Following the UK\u2019s announcement that it will suspend free trade agreement negotiations with Israel and impose sanctions on settlers:<\/p>\n<p>Even prior to today\u2019s announcement, the free trade agreement negotiations were not being advanced at all by the current UK government.
