An IDF airstrike overnight (Monday to Tuesday) targeted a Hamas command-and-control center operating from within Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. According to the IDF, the facility housed senior Hamas operatives who had planned and executed attacks on Israeli forces and civilians. The targeted operation was based on precise intelligence, aerial surveillance, and the use of precision-guided munitions, with measures taken to strike terror targets while minimizing harm to the surrounding hospital infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Terror Command Post Inside Hospital Grounds<\/strong>
\nThe targeted site had previously been used by Ismail Barhoum, who succeeded Hamas\u2019s Gaza Prime Minister and held the finance and institutions portfolio in the organization\u2019s political bureau. Barhoum was killed in an Israeli airstrike in March. Despite his death, Hamas continued to exploit medical facilities for operational purposes.<\/p>\n

Among the Dead: \u201cJournalist\u201d Who Documented the October 7 Massacre<\/strong>
\nAccording to reports from Gaza, among those killed in the strike was Hassan Eslaiah, a Gazan journalist long identified with Hamas. Eslaiah filmed himself on October 7 during the brutal massacre in southern Israel. He had previously attempted to flee to Egypt, though his efforts failed.<\/p>\n
