The family of IDF soldier Tamir Nimrodi, who was kidnapped to Gaza on October 7, remains hopeful. In a statement released overnight (Thursday to Friday), the family stressed that in the absence of any other information, Tamir is still classified as alive.<\/p>\n

We Have Not Received Any Information to the Contrary<\/strong>
\n\u201cTamir was taken into Gaza alive, and we have not received a single piece of information that proves otherwise. The classification of \u2018concern for his life\u2019 is a reflection of an ongoing situation based on the lack of a sign of life, not the result of any new evidence,\u201d the family said. \u201cIt is important to emphasize that in the absence of any new information, Tamir is still officially considered alive by all relevant authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe family added that it urges the public and media to avoid inaccurate portrayals that could harm Tamir, and clarified: \u201cWe will continue to pray and fight with all our strength for his return\u2014along with the other 58 hostages still being held.\u201d<\/p>\n

Concerns for the Lives of Three Hostages<\/strong>
\nAs previously reported, an official source stated that there are concerns for the lives of three hostages\u2014one Israeli and two foreign nationals.
