Roi Avraham Maimon z&#8221;l, fell in the line of duty just before he planned to propose. A year later, she\u2019s building a support center for those coping with grief and loss, and working as a youth coach with the \u201cHalutz \u2013 Education Through Sports\u201d initiative.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"500\"><strong data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"500\">\u201cFrom Deep Crisis Comes Light and a Way Forward\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong>Just over a year ago, Noya Nakler\u2019s life changed forever: her partner Roi was killed during his military service. Only later did she learn that just days before his death, he had planned to propose. \u201cWe were supposed to go on our big post-army trip,\u201d Nakler shares. \u201cAnd after he died, I decided not to stop\u2014I took that trip, with him and without him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1109\">During six months of travel and deep reflection, Nakler connected with spirituality and began forming a new vision for her life: to establish a therapeutic center for those who have lost loved ones\u2014bereaved parents, widows, orphans, and close friends.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1438\"><strong data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1438\">\u201cA Platform for Shared Healing\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u201cThe center will be a space for shared conversation, where we can witness each other\u2019s struggles\u2014and also a place for growth. It\u2019s about seeing light in the midst of deep crisis and finding the path to keep going,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1670\" data-end=\"1924\">The initiative is currently in early stages but has already attracted interest and support from professionals who want to help. She now works as a fitness coach at Halutz \u2013 Education Through Sports, part of the Dror Israel movement at Moshav Ashbal. Her path there began almost by chance, when a friend from her community suggested she try working with at-risk youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2276\" data-end=\"2621\">\u201cAt first I was hesitant. I had worked with kids in youth groups and preschools, but this was different\u2014it scared me,\u201d she admits. \u201cBut we decided to give it a try, and slowly something amazing happened\u2014a deep bond formed between us. It\u2019s so much more than training. It became friendship and support.
