This Memorial Day is unlike any other. Since the October 7 massacre, hundreds of new names have been added to the list of the fallen\u2014soldiers, civilians, and members of Israel\u2019s security forces. Alongside the victims who have been buried are still dozens of hostages who have not returned: some were abducted alive from the Gaza border; some were captured in battle around the Gaza envelope; and others\u2014both soldiers and civilians\u2014were killed and whose bodies remain in Hamas\u2019s hands.<\/p>\n
