U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to speak this evening (Monday) with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to journalist Barak Ravid, the conversation will focus on the hostage deal, the nuclear talks with Iran, and the possibility of military action.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, according to foreign sources, eight heavy C-17 military transport planes landed yesterday at Nevatim Airbase. This brings the total number of cargo planes to arrive in Israel since April 10 to 25\u2014all or most of them reportedly carrying advanced Patriot and THAAD missile defense systems. The shipments come amid preparations for a potential Israeli strike on Iran and a possible retaliatory response from Tehran.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to a report published this past Saturday by the Reuters news agency, political and security officials in both Israel and the United States confirm that Jerusalem has presented the Trump administration with several scenarios for a strike on Iran. These include precision airstrikes and commando operations\u2014some of which may be carried out in the coming months.<\/p>\n

Despite making softer public statements, Trump has conveyed that he is in no rush to take military action. He has expressed hope that Iran will agree to negotiations and emphasized that Iran must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n
