Islamic Jihad released a video today (Wednesday) showing proof of life of hostage Rom Braslavski. In the video, Braslavski appears pleading with the Israeli government and former U.S. President Donald Trump, asking: \u201cPlease bring me home.” He references Trump\u2019s past commitment to securing the release of all hostages.<\/p>\n

“We can’t recognize you\u2014but we see your goodness”<\/strong>
\nThis is the first video of Braslavski. Previously, another released hostage reported having met Rom in captivity and even recorded a message promising to work for his release.<\/p>\n

Rom\u2019s family has not authorized the release of the full video or additional images at this stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cRom, we love you and we won\u2019t give up\u201d<\/strong>
\nRom\u2019s brother, Amit Braslavski, posted a blurred image from the video to his private Instagram account and wrote: \u201cRom, my dear little brother\u2014we can\u2019t recognize you. You look like you\u2019ve aged years, but we can still see your goodness and the Rom I\u2019ve missed so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his post, Amit criticized the government for not reaching out to the family: \u201cNo one has contacted us. We will fight for you until the last drop of blood. We\u2019ll do everything to bring you home. Rom, we love you and we won\u2019t give up!\u201d<\/p>\n
