Conflicting Reports: Militias Preparing for Disarmament?<\/strong> \nA separate report from Reuters<\/em> and Arab media outlets paints a different picture: According to ten Iraqi sources, including senior militia commanders, the groups have begun dispersing, evacuating weapons caches, and relocating assets in anticipation of a potential disarmament agreement with the Iraqi government. The primary concern driving this move\u2014fear of targeted U.S. airstrikes.<\/p>\n
