Iran announced Tuesday morning that indirect negotiations with the United States will take place this coming Saturday in Oman. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in an official statement: \u201cThis is both an opportunity and a test\u2014the ball is in America\u2019s court.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Iranian media reports, Araghchi will lead Tehran\u2019s delegation, while President Donald Trump\u2019s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, will represent Washington. The discussions are expected to focus on regional security issues, with Iran\u2019s nuclear program at the top of the agenda.<\/p>\n

U.S.\u2013Israel Coordination Remains Strong<\/strong>
\nThe announcement comes just hours after a high-level meeting at the White House between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump. A senior member of Netanyahu\u2019s delegation stated, \u201cCoordination with the Americans is complete. Having a unified message is always important\u2014but in moments like these, it\u2019s critical. We\u2019re working to bring as many hostages home as possible, and this presents a major diplomatic opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a joint press statement, President Trump said, \u201cWe\u2019ve found some solutions to a few issues\u2014and we\u2019ll keep working on them.\u201d He reaffirmed his support for Israel, adding, \u201cI\u2019m the best president Israel has ever had.\u201d On the topic of Iran talks, he acknowledged the upcoming discussions and simply said, \u201cWe\u2019ll see how it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nNetanyahu praised Trump\u2019s leadership and commitment: \u201cYou follow through on what you say. You\u2019re a true hero in our lives.\u201d The two leaders also discussed trade issues, tariffs, and the status of hostages held abroad. Trump emphasized, \u201cWe\u2019re working hard to bring them all home\u2014that\u2019s what Israel wants more than anything in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
