Palestinians have reported that the U.S. has proposed a deal in which Hamas releases 10 live hostages in exchange for a two-month extension of the ceasefire in Gaza. A Palestinian source told Sky News Arabic<\/em> that the American proposal also includes the opening of border crossings and the continuation of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza. The source claimed Hamas has yet to respond to the offer, and is currently weighing its position on the offer.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s Envoy in Talks with Hamas Officials<\/strong>
\nThe report follows information revealed by Reuters<\/em> earlier today, which indicated that negotiations were held over the past 24 hours between Trump’s envoy Adam Boehler and senior Hamas officials, as well as Egyptian and Qatari representatives. Discussions focused on Gaza\u2019s governance after the war, and possible formations of future leadership in the region.<\/p>\n

Egyptian sources quoted by Reuters<\/em> noted that the discussions ended on a positive note, suggesting the possibility for a second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. The talks were supposedly centered on key issues, including who would take control of governing Gaza and plans for regional stability. An Israeli official denied the report.<\/p>\n

No Official Confirmation of the U.S. Proposal to Hamas<\/strong>
\nAs part of the ongoing negotiations, Trump\u2019s envoy engaged with mediators to establish agreements that would advance the hostage deal. The main goal was to build on the positive momentum towards an agreement, and take practical steps to improve the humanitarian and security situation in Gaza.<\/p>\n
