It has been released for publication that Hassan Dahamshe (Karim), 62, a resident of Kfar Kana, was murdered today (Monday) in the stabbing attack that occurred in the morning at the central bus station in Haifa.<\/p>\n

Four additional individuals were injured in the incident: a man and a woman in their 30s and a 15-year-old boy in serious condition, along with another woman approximately 70 years old in moderate condition. All the injured were evacuated for medical treatment at Rambam Hospital in the city, and there is no fear for their lives. The attacker was shot dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

\nThe terrorist, Yitro Shaheen, a 20-year-old Arab citizen of Israel from Shfar’am (or Shefa-Amr), got off a bus at the scene and began stabbing passengers. He had returned to Israel last week after an extended stay abroad and managed to wound several civilians before being neutralized by gunfire from a security guard and a civilian at the scene.<\/p>\n

\nIt could have ended much worse<\/strong>
\nBaruch Linsha, a volunteer from a rescue organization who was among the first to arrive at the scene, told Moment NEWS<\/em>: “This is a crowded place. The results are severe. It appears that the attacker managed to stab several people before being neutralized. The event could have ended much worse because this place is full of people at this hour, and it is still a very difficult incident.” Linsha added that upon his arrival at the scene, he immediately began treating the injured: “I arrived shortly after the gunfire. I immediately started bandaging wounds, stopping the bleeding, and did everything I could to help.”<\/p>\n

Alongside the difficult testimonies, Linsha praised the crowd present at the scene: “People evacuated the area quickly, well done to them. You could see the mutual responsibility and care of the public. My message is that we must have faith \u2013 that\u2019s what one can do in such moments.”<\/p>\n

Commissioner Danny Levy arrived at the location and held an initial situation assessment with commanding officers on-site. Police forces cordoned off the area and are managing the incident.<\/p>\n
