The prestigious award was granted to 13 exceptional students from across Israel for their extraordinary volunteer work as part of the &#8220;Personal Development and Social Involvement&#8221; program. Recipients were selected for their remarkable commitment to Israel\u2019s social resilience in challenging times. Their efforts included, providing aid to families of reservists, and supporting wounded soldiers and survivors. Additionally, those who provided other forms of community volunteer work across Israel were recognized as well.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Education Yoav Kisch praised the recipients, stating: &#8220;These young leaders are a symbol of Israel\u2019s strength and solidarity. Even in the most difficult times following October 7, they have proven that our youth are the backbone of our nation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Legacy of Giving and Courage<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Elad Riven Award was established in 2012 to honor the selflessness and bravery of its namesake. Riven, just 16 years old at the time, ran into the deadly Mount Carmel fires as a volunteer firefighter to help save lives.
