\u00a0<\/strong>After a pro-Palestinian organization tracked their whereabouts through social media, two active-duty IDF soldiers who fought in Gaza had to cut their vacation in the Netherlands short and return urgently to Israel.<\/p>\n

The soldiers, who had shared footage from various locations in Gaza during the war, traveled to Amsterdam on their leave with official military approval. Upon their arrival in the city, they posted content online, which allowed the pro-Palestinian organization to identify them, cross-reference information, and pinpoint their location. This raised serious concerns that they might be detained by local authorities.<\/p>\n

Soldiers Remained in Their Room Pending Instructions
\n<\/strong>After Israeli authorities received the information, the IDF instructed the soldiers to stay in their hotel room until further notice. Overnight, military officials worked swiftly, and a decision was made to bring them back to Israel as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

The IDF Spokesperson stated: “The incident is known and was handled through the relevant channels. The IDF is committed to ensuring the security of its soldiers and commanders both in Israel and abroad, and taking all necessary measures to do so. IDF soldiers are required to strictly adhere to operational security and personal safety guidelines.”<\/p>\n
