This state-of-the-art facility eliminates much of the standard airport bureaucracy by allowing eligible travelers to proceed directly to the accessible terminal, where they will undergo security screening and baggage drop-off before heading straight to their flights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A World-Class Initiative for Accessibility<\/strong><br \/>\nThis groundbreaking project, a rarity among global airports, was made possible through a collaboration between Israel\u2019s Ministry of Transport, the Israel Airports Authority, and disability advocacy organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Transport Miri Regev highlighted the growing need for such services, stating: &#8220;Unfortunately, over the past year, the number of people with disabilities in Israel has grown significantly. We see this reflected in the need for better accessibility in buses, trains, and now in our airports.
