US President Donald Trump addressed the situation of the hostages who were freed last Saturday from Hamas captivity in a conversation with reporters last night (Sunday): “At some point, we’re going to lose our patience.”<\/p>\n

“I don\u2019t know how much longer we can take that,” the president said. “I know we have a deal where we are supposed to get a “dribble” in, and keep dribbling in, but they are in really bad shape. They’ve been treated brutally, horribly.”<\/p>\n

“At some point, we’re going to lose our patience… I don\u2019t know how much longer we can take it… They look like they’ve ages 25 years. They literally look like old pictures of Holocaust survivors,” Trump added.<\/p>\n

“Committed to Buying and Owning Gaza”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The president also referred to his plan to relocate Gaza’s residents to Arab countries, telling reporters that he remains committed to the idea that the US should purchase and take ownership of Gaza after its residents leave.<\/p>\n

“I’m committed to buying Gaza and taking ownership of it,” he said. “We may allocate parts of the land to other countries in the Middle East to develop. We will turn Gaza into a site for future development.”<\/p>\n

Trump stated his commitment to acquire Gaza and keep it in American hands, perhaps involving other nations in its reconstruction. The president added: “We’ll make it into a very good site for future development,” emphasizing his intention to change the reality in the region.<\/p>\n

“Once Again, We See What Hamas Monsters Are”<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ohad Ben Ami, Or Levi, and Eli Sharabi, who were kidnapped by Hamas on October 7, were released last Saturday as part of the hostage deal. Upon their arrival, concerns were raised about their health due to visible signs of starvation.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted sharply: “Once again, we see what Hamas monsters are\u2014the same hatred and cruelty that butchered our citizens and abused our hostages. Their blood is on their hands.”<\/p>\n

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa\u2019ar also commented on the gaunt appearance of the returning hostages: “The horrific images speak for themselves. Our hostages look like Holocaust survivors. The Nazi-like evil of Hamas must be eradicated.”<\/p>\n
