Hungary\u2019s clear and moral stance is based on principles of justice and sovereignty.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hungary is now the first European country to announce the possibility of halting cooperation with the ICC. The statement from Hungary\u2019s foreign minister comes exactly two weeks after Sa\u2019ar\u2019s visit to the country.<\/p>\n<p>As previously reported, last night U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court in The Hague. The measure was taken following arrest warrants issued by the ICC against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Under these sanctions, economic restrictions and entry bans will be imposed on those who assisted in the investigation, as well as their family members.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary\u2019s bold stance reinforces the growing international support for Israel against politically motivated actions.
