Events Leading Up to the Strikes <\/strong><\/p>\n

The airstrikes were launched following the interception of a Hezbollah reconnaissance UAV that was en route to Israeli territory yesterday (Thursday). The incident was deemed a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon. <\/p>\n
