Personal Connections with Jews <\/strong><\/p>\n The survey also examined Jewish social ties: 52% of respondents said they find it easier to form friendships with other Jews, while 46% said a person’s Jewish identity does not affect their ability to form friendships. The survey indicated that as one moves from liberal to more conservative religious beliefs, the likelihood of preferring Jewish friendships increases.<\/p>\n Trust in Trump <\/strong><\/p>\n Following the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States, the JPPI examined Jewish Americans’ confidence in the new administration across various issues. The findings indicate that conservative Jews express significantly greater confidence in Trump than liberal Jews.<\/p>\n A similar pattern emerges when analyzing respondents by religious observance: The more religiously conservative the respondents, the more trust they have in Trump\u2019s future policies.
