Palestinian residents are not permitted to return to northern Gaza at this time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ensuring the Border Remains Closed<\/strong><em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cG\u201d describes the situation on the ground: \u201cWe\u2019re on high alert, always with the tanks. Until now, we\u2019ve been conducting searches inside houses, but we\u2019ve moved outside to secure the border more. We\u2019ve been stationed in the Netzarim Corridor for about a month and a half.
