“The Deal Must Be Upheld”<\/strong><\/p>\n
The names of the hostages set to be released are expected to be transferred to Israel 24 hours before their release. However, within Israel\u2019s security and political leadership, extensive discussions are taking place to prepare for any potential scenarios. Particular attention is being paid to past difficulties in securing compliance from Hamas, as well as measures to prevent delays or disruptions that the organization might attempt. <\/p>\n
Despite concerns, there is cautious optimism that Hamas will ultimately honor the agreement to facilitate the next stage of the deal. This week, Israel emphasized the need to include Arbel Yehud, a civilian kidnapped from Kibbutz Nir Oz, as well as three of the remaining five female surveillance officers still held by Hamas. <\/p>\n
