A New Addition to the Biden Family<\/strong><\/p>\n

President Joe Biden became a great-grandfather on Wednesday when his granddaughter Naomi welcomed her first child, a baby boy, in Los Angeles. This marks the first time in U.S. history that a sitting president has celebrated the birth of a great-grandchild. First Lady Jill Biden shared the joyful news on Instagram, revealing the baby’s name: William Brannon.<\/p>\n

In his statement, Biden said, \u201cThe good news is that as of today, I\u2019m a great-grandfather. My granddaughter gave birth to a baby boy today, weighing 10.23 pounds (4.64 kg).\u201d Biden, who is nearing the end of his presidency, has five children and seven grandchildren with whom he frequently spends time. Now, he has a new family member waiting for him in California.<\/p>\n
