Finance Minister and Minister in the Ministry of Defense, Bezalel Smotrich, conducted a visit today (Tuesday) to agricultural farms in eastern Samaria and the Jordan Valley. The tour included veterans and activists from the Association of Farms, as well as Yehuda Eliyahu, Head of the Settlement Directorate; Hillel Roth, Deputy Head of the Civil Administration; and Amichai Shawat, CEO of the Association of Farms. <\/p>\n
During the visit, the minister visited Marom Shmuel Farm, managed by Nati and Nasya Schwalb, and Emek Tirza Farm, run by the Sharvit family. “A Fight for Open Spaces” <\/strong><\/p>\n
During the tour, Smotrich highlighted the critical role of the farms in preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state and in safeguarding the nation\u2019s lands. “The farm owners are the modern-day \u2018Tower and Stockade\u2019 pioneers, the elite unit in the fight for open spaces,” he stated. According to Smotrich, the farms serve as a “security defense line” for settlements in Judea and Samaria. <\/p>\n
Support and Expansion<\/strong><\/p>\n
