Following the ceasefire agreement in the North, thousands of visitors are heading daily to explore open spaces and sites that were central to recent hostilities. Ahead of the weekend, the Israel Police has released important safety instructions to ensure the well-being of all visitors. <\/p>\n

Israel Police Guidelines<\/strong>
\n– Restricted Areas: Many areas are off-limits without prior coordination with security authorities.
\n– Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Risks: In recent days, police and IDF forces have worked to clear hundreds of unexploded ordnances from open areas. However, there may still be undetected UXOs. If you encounter an unfamiliar object, move away immediately and report it to the emergency hotline at 100.
\n– Drive Carefully: Transportation infrastructure, including roads, signage, and safety features, sustained damage during the fighting. Repairs are ongoing, so drive with caution, especially on secondary roads.
\n– No Entry to Lebanese Territory: Several individuals have been detained recently for inadvertently crossing into Lebanon during their trips. It is important to note that entering Lebanese territory is prohibited by law, with violators facing up to four years in prison. <\/p>\n
