Mortars, rifles, and a vehicle suspected to be stolen, were discovered near a residential building in Dir Hanaa, as part of an operation conducted by border police officers from the Dir Hanaa Police Command Center. The Command Center was established under the guidance of Northern District Commander, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu, as part of the “New Way” project which targets criminal activity, operating with hundreds of officers and fighters in the communities of Dir Hanaa, Arraba, and Sakhnin, conducting searches and arrests alongside traffic enforcement and maintaining public order.<\/p>\n
Two local residents, aged 22 and 49, were arrested and will be brought today for a court hearing following the police’s request to extend their detention.<\/p>\n
