The IDF Spokesperson announced this morning that Air Force fighter jets, guided by Military Intelligence, recently struck several military headquarters of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Dahieh area of Beirut. <\/p>\n

The spokesperson added that the strikes dismantled years of Hezbollah’s fortifications in Dahieh. \u201cThese strikes are another step in the IDF\u2019s efforts to undermine Hezbollah\u2019s capabilities to carry out terror activities against Israel. They are part of the broader effort to destroy the weapon production sites and storage facilities Hezbollah has built in Dahieh over the years.\u201d <\/p>\n

The IDF Spokesperson also addressed the issue of civilian protection: \u201cAll targets struck were deliberately located by Hezbollah within civilian areas, demonstrating the organization’s cynical use of Lebanese civilians as human shields. Before the strikes, extensive measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including pre-strike intelligence gathering, precise observation, and advance warnings to evacuate the area.\u201d <\/p>\n

Earlier this morning, the IDF Spokesperson announced that \u201cin southern Lebanon, Division 91 forces discovered numerous weapons and destroyed several loaded launchers ready to fire, which were directly aimed at Galilee communities.\u201d Additionally, it was reported that \u201cin the past 24 hours, the Air Force struck dozens of Hezbollah terror targets in southern and deep areas of Lebanon, including headquarters, weapons storage facilities, and multiple launchers, some of which were used to fire rockets yesterday (Sunday) toward the Gulf region and the Sharon area.\u201d <\/p>\n

Yesterday, the IDF reported that it had attacked 150 terror targets since the beginning of the week, eliminating a significant number of militants in airstrikes and clashes. <\/p>\n
